DECISÕES E SOLUÇÕES, the largest Real Estate Consulting network operating in Portugal, increased its turnover by 30%, compared to the same period last year, maintaining its pace of growth, in a sustained manner in all its areas of activity during the 1st half of this year.

The Real Estate Mediation area saw a 14% growth in transaction volume compared to the same period last year. The average value of properties sold was €125,850, while that of leases was around €540 compared to the same period last year, and when compared to the 1st quarter of this year, both values registered a slight increase, which demonstrates that the sector real estate, even in times of pandemic, continued to operate.

In the area of Mediation of Works and Property Construction, the average value of each house awarded was 115,000 euros and in the case of mediation of works, the average value of each work was 40,600 euros, this value having doubled when compared to the 1st quarter of this year, which proves the need for the Portuguese to remodel their homes into more welcoming spaces (as they have never spent as much time at home as in these first months of the year).

As for Credit Intermediation, DECISÕES E SOLUÇÕES recorded an overall growth of 61% in the volume of credit contracted, recording the same growth in housing credit. The average value of transactions carried out in the context of housing loans was €116,150, while in personal loans it was €16,300.

In the area of Insurance, DECISÕES E SOLUÇÕES, growth in agent turnover compared to the same period last year was 15%. There was an increase in all branches, with a greater emphasis on the Life Risk branch, where growth was 52%.

According to Luís Tavares, National Coordinating Director of DECISÕES E SOLUÇÕES, in the insurance area, “The first half of 2020 was very atypical, due to the effects of the Pandemic, with confinement and the economic slowdown penalizing commercial activity, as it would be to wait, but even so, DECISÕES E SOLUÇÕES managed to have a semester of growth in the insurance area, for which the entire team is to be congratulated and we are very pleased to have helped, this semester, more than 1,000 families to halve their cost of their life insurance, with an average saving of €600 per year per household, undoubtedly an important contribution to the budget of these families, especially in these times”.
